The 2009 Eagle Marching Band is comprised of sophomores, juniors and seniors from Eden Prairie High School.  The band represents one element of a comprehensive music education offered to students at EPHS.  In addition to marching band, students participate in 5 concert bands, 3 jazz ensembles, chamber winds, percussion ensemble, winterguard, world drumming, music listing, music theory classes and music history classes. 

 

Previous Honored Performances include:

 

· Bands of America National Concert Band Festival, Indianapolis, IN 2001.

· Bands of America Super Regional Finalist, St. Louis, MO 2007.

· Youth in Music Grand Championships 2^nd place 2008.

· The Wind ensemble and Percussion Ensemble have been selected to perform at the Minnesota Music Educators Midwinter Clinic in February 2010.

· The Wind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble have been selected to perform at the Music for All National Concert Band Festival in March 2010.
